Leadership Development
Whilst allowing no compromises in our commitment to achieve practical results, when assignments are completed, we take time reflect on what has worked particularly well. A key objective of our Coaching services is the personal development of our client and in Maximising Your Equity the need for effective business leadership is paramount. Hence, Leadership Development is always an element of our work.
When the emphasis or starting point for a coaching programme is personal development, it may either follow a standard Business Leader’s Coaching Programme format or operate on a bespoke basis.
In a typical Programme the key stages are:
- to fully understand the strengths and challenges of the business, and what motivates and what de-motivates the Business Leader
- to agree on the Business Leader’s goals for the business and him/herself. to identify any barriers to fulfillment of those goals.
- to understand the broad path and critical first steps to attaining those goals.
- to identify and provide any extra resources needed to take and sustain action.
To offer guidance and support throughout implementation
A standard Business Leader’s Coaching Programme will consist of 10-12 sessions held over six to twelve months “frontloaded” to include assessment of the starting point, goal setting and planning with remaining sessions confirmed to monitor and support progress.
Bespoke coaching is based on the client nominating the topic they would like to discuss and specific coaching taking place to achieve the required outcome. This bespoke coaching can take place as a one-off event or as a series of planned meetings. A number of clients have opted to invest time in a short series of coaching sessions initially with their coach who is then available on a retainer basis to be called in as and when required.
